The Institute of Engineering & Rural Technology (IERT), Prayagraj, conducts the IERT Entrance Examination – 2026 for admission to various Diploma courses including Three-Year (6 Semester) Engineering/Technology Diploma, Two-Year (4 Semester) Management Diploma, and One & Half Year (3 Semester) Post Diploma in Computer Application. The Institute is an autonomous body, approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and offers recognized diploma courses based on merit in the entrance examination and subsequent counseling.

👤 Age Limit & Eligibility
- For Three Year (6 Semester) Engineering/Technology Diploma: Candidate must be a minimum of 14 years old on 1st July 2026. There is no upper age limit.
- For Two Year (4 Semester) Management Diploma: Candidate must be a minimum of 16 years old on 1st July 2026. There is no upper age limit.
- For One & Half Year (3 Semester) Post Diploma in Computer Application: Candidate must be a minimum of 18 years old on 1st July 2026. There is no upper age limit.
📝 Education Qualification
- For Three Year (6 Semester) Engineering/Technology Diploma: Candidate should have passed High School (10th class) examination with Science & Maths conducted by Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad U.P. or any other equivalent examination of Central Board (CBSE or ICSE) or any other State Board. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible, subject to producing their pass Mark Sheet & Certificate of High School at the time of counseling.
- For Two Year (4 Semester) Management Diploma: Candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with English and Hindi at High School or Intermediate level. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible, subject to producing their pass Mark Sheet & Certificate of the above examination at the time of counseling.
- For One & Half Year (3 Semester) Post Diploma in Computer Application: Candidate should have a Diploma in any branch of Engineering/Technology or be a graduate in any discipline with Physics and Maths Subjects at Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent. Appearing candidates are also eligible for the entrance examination, but they will have to produce the pass mark sheet and certificate of the above exam at the time of counseling.

🏃 Physical Standard Test
- Medical Fitness: The eligibility for admission includes medical fitness. Candidates selected for admission from the merit list should be free from any infections, contagious, colour blindness, mental & psychiatric diseases.
- Medical Certificate: Candidates will have to submit a medical certificate from a government medical practitioner at the time of admission.
- Physically Handicapped (PH) Candidates: PH candidates are required to deposit certificates issued by CMO (Chief Medical Officer) showing more than 40% disability to avail reservation benefits.
