- Agniveer (Apprentice) 01/2027 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 December 2004 and 31 May 2009 (Both dates inclusive).
- Agniveer (Apprentice) 02/2027 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 May 2005 and 31 October 2009 (Both dates inclusive).
- Note: Candidates born between 01 December 2004 and 31 October 2009 are eligible to apply for INET 2/2026. Further, candidates shall be eligible for the Stage II recruitment process of the respective batch as per the age criteria shown above.
Candidates must have passed:
- Matriculation Examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
- Completed three years diploma course from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) recognised Polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following diploma courses:
- Engineering: Marine Engineering & Systems, Mechanical, Production/ Automobile, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Repair and Maintenance, Power Plant Engineering, Industrial/Production, Maintenance, Machine, Manufacturing/ Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Instrumentation, Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
- Electrical: Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation Technology, Electronics, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering.

- Candidates can apply ONLINE ONLY on the website https://joinindiannavy.gov.in.
- The application window is from 05 June 2026 (10:00 hrs) to 29 June 2026 (17:00 hrs).
- Visit the website, click on "Register" and register as AVR (Apprentice).
- Once registration is successful, click on "Login" as (Apprentice) INET 2/26 and proceed to apply.
- Fill up correct details in the online application form.
- Incorrect declaration of information may lead to cancellation of candidature.
- Application may be uploaded from Common Service Centers (CSC) across the country (optional facility, fee Rs 60 + GST).
- Candidates are advised to apply online well in time without waiting for the last date.
