1	Visit official RRB website	Go to your chosen RRB s official website (e.g. rrbcdg.gov.in for Chandigarh). Use only official links. Beware of fake websites.
2	Create an account	Enter Name (as per 10th certificate), Father/Mother name, Date of Birth, valid mobile number, and active email ID. Verify identity via Aadhaar / DigiLocker. No changes allowed after account creation.
3	Self-screening medical declaration	Declare fitness regarding eyesight (no LASIK surgery), hearing, speech, mental health, diabetes, hypertension, and substance use. A downloadable medical report will be generated — to be submitted on CBAT day.
4	Fill application form	Select your RRB and zone preferences carefully — cannot be changed later. Fill personal, educational, and category details accurately.
5	Capture live photograph	Live photo will be captured via webcam / front camera during filling. Wear dark-coloured clothing. No glasses, cap, or mask. Entire face must be visible. Do NOT upload a pre-existing photo.
6	Upload signature	Running handwriting (cursive) only. Black ink on white paper. JPG/JPEG format, 30–49 KB, min 140×60 px. No block/capital letters. No thumb impression.
7	Upload SC/ST certificate (if applicable)	Required only for candidates claiming free train travel pass. PDF format, less than 400 KB.
8	Pay examination fee	Pay online via Net Banking / Debit-Credit Card / UPI. Deadline: 16 June 2026. Application accepted only after successful fee confirmation via SMS & email.
9	Modify application (if needed)	Window: 17–26 June 2026. Pay ₹250 per modification. Account details and chosen RRB cannot be modified at any stage.
10	Keep credentials safe	Note your Registration Number. Keep mobile and email active throughout the entire recruitment process. Download e-call letter 4 days before exam from official RRB website only.
⚠️ Only ONE application per candidate across ALL RRBs. Multiple applications = rejection + debarment from future exams. Apply to only ONE RRB.
